The chapel was never used for animals but straw and hay . The water pump we got our water from for our house just up the road as no water plummed at that time . The room by the water pump was lived in by a little old lady until she died . The gatehouse was also occupied at this time .Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15152560577728609948noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2906967535339378268.post-50914513949538426712020-11-23T05:31:05.779-08:002020-11-23T05:31:05.779-08:00Bit late adding this, but often the staff working ...Bit late adding this, but often the staff working with the horses were accommodated in the stable block, can't bring the smell of the stables into the house, even in the servants quarters)so that the good rooms would be for the head coachman, maybe head groom, and above the stables, beds for the stable lads. At this date I doubt there would have been mews, nor pigeon lofts (pigeons for food, that is).Uncle Flynnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03742748266062081499noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2906967535339378268.post-35428286317031881202020-10-24T07:54:06.187-07:002020-10-24T07:54:06.187-07:00This was really useful and interesting, thanks.
