Well this is cool!

ROOFTOPS OF SHREWSBURY

"Rooftops of Shrewsbury" is a photo book compiling various rooftopping photos taken over the past decade or so. These photos have proven popular in local Facebook groups and on the blog (and have even been used against my permission and without credit by the Visit Shropshire website- don't think I haven't seen you, ya cheeky weasels) but this is the first time they've been available in print form.

"Rooftops of Shrewsbury" is ideal for tourists and for locals who want to see their town from a unique perspective

It also has added historical significance in that these photos date from 2025 all the way back to 2010. Pride Hill has changed colour, McDonalds has gone, Riverside has been demolished, and even the lightshow of the Flower Show is now confined to the past. "Rooftops of Shrewsbury" offers a nostalgic window into the past, as well as the quirkiness of an unusual perspective.

  1. A must buy book from Shropshires best free running roof hopping photographers. Lots of history combined with the most likely vantage points 👍
